The TRAC Gallery has already sold some pieces, and it's only been open a month. That makes me very hopeful and excited for this new year, even if my pieces haven't sold yet. I know the right buyers will see my work soon, and I can't wait for that.
I've finished a lot of larger drawings since the beginning of December, and right now I'm working on this drawing of two fighters. For a while, I've been fascinated with drawing emotionless, cold people. But now I want to inject some life back into my people, and got a lot of inspiration from online pictures of boxers. I decided to put these men in some ridiculous 70's clothes, without boxing gloves, because the idea is that behind our civilized facades, we're just talking animals trying to be something else.
