Reading Real Artists Don't Starve by Jeff Goins, I've been inspired to start thinking about how I can collaborate with other artists, to get my art career going. Then I thought about Takashi Murakami, one of the richest artists in the world, and one of my biggest inspirations, and I went to his instagram page. He has people working on some of his art pieces for him, hanging his art on storefronts, putting his designs on clothes and toys, and it made me realize if I want to make money, doing some more commercial art and not just fine art, is probably the smartest thing to do.
Here's a sketch I've started- small images that could be changed up, moved around, repeated endlessly, maybe someday made into wallpaper or put on clothes, toys, whatever. It's just one idea, but I think that maybe it could turn into something.
